It took me exactly one year to the day to reach this milestone and I wasn’t even trying. It doesn’t seem like this is my 100th post at all, but my blogger dashboard says it’s so.
The last 99 were easy, but what to say about the momentous 100th blog post except, bring on the extra large Diet Coke baby, were celebrating!
I am so grateful for all my blogger friends and the support you have given me over the past year, and so on this very special day, I would like to take a few seconds to give a shout out to all my blogger buddies. You ladies are THE BOMBDIGETY! When I am down, you cheer me up. When I need to brag about my kids, you agree with me. When I am tagged to share quirky things about myself, you have never judged me. You all have inspired me to be a better mom and wife, because every time I read your blogs, it makes me feel a little bad about myself and it makes me want to be a better person! Was that what you were all trying to do? Just kidding! I do love all of you and your examples that you are to me in every aspect of your lives.
I am so grateful that this blog has given me the opportunity to actually keep a journal of sorts for an entire year. I have never been as good in all my years as a mother with keeping track of our everyday lives as I have this past year. I know that our everyday life may be a little silly and boring to some, but it is our crazy, silly life and I love that we have the ways and means in this modern age to keep a journal and have it so easily kept…spell check and all. Although, I do have to apologize for the past year of grammatical errors and run on sentences, I am not a writer by any means of the word.
So THANK YOU! Thanks for checking in on us, and thanks for letting us check in on you. By the way, when I say us, I mean all of us. I have my kids as addicted to blogging as I am, and they love to check in on ALL of you everyday. So when you see The Schmalz Family hitting your live traffic feed five times a day, please note that I am not the only one checking you. I am not THAT big of a stalker!

CONGRATS my sweet friend. I am so totally inspired by you. You are so witty and fun and lovable and you're friends with everyone and you're an AWESOME mom and a great wife and you're so skinny and I love your guts! You've been there for me through some pretty crappy stuff and I appreciate you and look forward to many more memories with you. I love to read you blog and I'm so glad you got me hooked. :) Congrats again!
P.S. YES you can go eat some of my rice and wheat when dooms day comes. I hope you have water because we don't. Scott said, "I hope you learn how to cook this stuff without water." Next time, you need to come can stuff with me. Love you!
Way to go, Stacy! Your posts are so fun to read. I don't know who invented blogging (Al Gore, maybe?) but s/he should get some kind of award or something. Keep up the great family history work! Can you imagine reading your great-great grandma's blog? Our posterity will be so dang lucky.
