I could get used to this!

I came home from work today to find that Sophie had loaded the dishwasher, made my bed, picked up my bedroom, cleaned the kitchen and the family room, all without being asked. What did I ever do to deserve such a sweet and thoughtful daughter? She is such a big helper for me around the house. I never have to ask her more than once to do something and I NEVER have to get after her to pick up her room or make her bed. I know that I don't tell her often enough how much I appreciate her. I, more often than not, just go with the flow of life and forget to stop and tell my kids how much it means to me when they do those little things that make me so happy. I notice when they help out with chores or with their little siblings. I love it when they are kind and loving to each other. I notice these things and it brings joy to my heart.
So Sophie Marie, just in case you were wondering, I LOVE YOU, and I am so grateful for all you do for me.
