They did it. All three kids graduated from their current grade and moved on up to the next. They even got little certificates to prove it. What a happy day.
Highlights from the year-
*Sophie's straight A's, for the entire year.
*Grayson's straight A's for quarters 2, 3, and 4.
*Grayson raising a painted lady butterfly from a Caterpillar.
*Grayson getting a special certificate for scoring in the top 10% in the nation on the Iowa test in social studies.
*Gavin getting to go on twelve field trips with his sixth grade class.
*One of those being Space Camp and getting to be the Ambassador of Earth.
*Sophie loving her teacher, Mrs Farnworth.
*Sophie learning how to quilt for a social studies project and accidentally sewing her quilt square to my bedroom carpet. Oops!
*Grayson getting a gift certificate to cold stone for having the cleanest desk.
*Sophie getting a king size candy bar for having one of the cleanest desks.
*Gavin getting through sixth grade with a smile on his face even when he didn't feel like smiling.

Your baby is going to middle school next year! That is crazy, aren't you my same age???
12 field trips, wow, I wish I remembered 6th grade being that fun.
Gavin looks SO enthusicatic ;] He is definately becoming a teenager, huh? Dan is shocked he is going into middle school this year!! I'm sure you are too.
