The day that Grayson Kent Schmalz made my world a little bit brighter.
Weighing in at 6 lbs 15 oz and 19 inches long.
It's so amazing that somebody so little can make you so very happy.
In honor of Grayson's 9th birthday, I have decided to share 9 things about Grayson that I think are fabulous. 
1. Grayson is very athletic and is really good at just about anything he tries.
2. He is smart and a hard worker when it comes to his schoolwork.
3. He is my funny man from day one. He makes me smile every single day and that is not a bad thing to have around.4. He wears his heart on his sleeve.
5. When Gray grows up he wants to be a scientist. Not a mad scientist, but a real scientist. (this is him mixing up some imaginary potion of some kind.)
6. He loves to go hunting with his grandpa, uncles, and cousins.

He is the only kid I know that orders the cod and a side of broccoli when they have the option of yummy pancakes at IHOP. He hates most sweets, except for the occasional doughnut and some chocolate milk.
8. Gray is a crazy good soccer player and a super fast runner. This is a picture of his soccer team. He made the arsenal soccer team last spring and really loved it so I guess we will keep at it. "No sense in letting a talent go to waste". Good advise Gray.

Seriously, if he could only redirect that energy into something more productive!

Happy Birthday Gray! The first thing I remember about you as a baby is your adorable smile. I love how curious you are about the world. Don't ever lose that - it makes life much more interesting.

Yes it is a Happy Happy day to celebrate our Gray!! I love him so much!! He brings sunshine to my life. He is a wonderful example of how to live a healthy life. And I love that he loves to make others laugh! I heard that you burn 40 calories from laughing for 10 to 15mins. a day. So thanks fo helping us burn calories! Love YOU so so much Gray!!

Grayson has always been just plain adorably handsome.
But seriously, his personality is the thing that is most memorable to me.
