So, I went to Lanie Bugs parent teacher conference last night. While waiting for my turn with the best first grade teacher in town, I was very entertained by the wall outside her classroom. New years resolutions through the eyes of 6 year old kids. Lanie's went something like this...
I want to help the pore. I want to help my mom not get so mad. I want to help my mom with the dishes. I want to help my dad keep his room clean.
Now the entire world thinks I get mad all the time, and her dad has his own room. The whole neighborhood is talking...

On the other hand, she does want to help the pore...
LOVE it!!!! That is so sweet!
Who knew??? Xandi doesn't even look like he might have a problem keeping his room tidy, good thing Lanie's around...just don't yell at them.
At least she wants to help. It is kind of scary to see ourselves in the eyes of our children. It gets a lot worse as they get older.
Well you know what they say, "Pretty much all the honest truth-telling there is in the world is done by children." AND she does want to help the pore. You must have taught her that. LOVE you! :)
Kids are awesome! That's so funny!
That is adorable. She is very smart, and uses big words for her age.
I would hate to see what my kids would say! Lol. She is so sweet. Love her tons :)
