We know how to have fun around here...

and let me tell you how.
It all started with a very clogged shower drain last night. I tried my darnedest to get that sucker unclogged , but after much plunging, I resigned myself to stopping at Walmart on the way home from work (as much as I hate doing that) and getting some liquid plumber. Well, as I was almost asleep last night, a thought came into my head about something that I really wanted to try that a friend recommended, it's one of these babies. Let me tell you, for the cost of a whopping three dollars, it provided an entire evening of pure wholesome entertainment for me and the kids. No TV for us tonight, we were purely fixed on the wads of disgusting hairballs that we were pulling out of, not only the shower drain, but every drain in the entire house. Fun. fun, fun!

Oh, by the way, the Schmalz kids have weak stomachs. They really are pretty wimpy when it comes to stinky hairballs!

It sounds like a good time was had by all. I've used one of those before. They're disgusting but effective.

I guess I should have figured out that I should not have watched that video while I ate my breakfast, but I know EXACTLY what I'm getting the next time I have to go to the store!! Thank you!! And since I'm the only girl around here, I know our drain problems are all my fault!

Jake is going to LOVE me --well even more than he does --when I tell him about that contraption.

Haha, I need one of those! Matt will have to do it though, that's disgusting! We tried the Drano route once, it didn't work and I ended up with a still-clogged sink full of nasty dishwater and Drano (which McKinley - then about 2 1/2 years old - dipped her fingers in and licked - seriously GROSS :) I think I'll try your method next time (poison control will be glad)!
