The date was July 2nd, 1989.
The location was the Alpha Beta parking lot, a grocery store that Xandi and I both worked at. On this particular day I was a customer and he was carrying out my groceries that my mom had sent me to the store to pick up, tomatoes and cream of mushroom soup. Good thing I had his help because I don't think I could have carried them by myself, wink, wink! And good thing he didn't notice that I passed two grocery stores on the way in order to go to the one he was working at!
The accomplishment, after months of flirting, Xandi finally got enough courage to ask me out on a date! Who knew at the time that that one little banana cream pie malt shared later that night at Fred and Kelly's would lead to all of this.

19 years is a long time but at the same time it feels like a blink of an eye. Time goes by so darn fast. All in all, I cant imagine my life without my best friend in the whole wide world. I am the luckiest girl and after 19 years I am proud to declare that I am still twitterpated!

That is so awesome. I won't show you the pics of me during that decade. You're actually look good. Love the last one of you two. Jeff and I laugh about the pegged jeans and the perm frizz hair all the time. We laugh because he was in high school and I was in the 6th grade. Seriously 19 years. I can't believe it. You are way too young to be coming up on 20. Crazy. Anyway--I have loved getting caught up on all you've posted. Can I get the explanation on where Xandi came from? I love how happy and in love you two are. Jeff comes home from every meeting and says how much he thinks of your cute hubby. Thanks for sharing.

I love the pictures! I showed Dave the first one, and asked him if he knew he it was. He finally recognized you, but couldn't tell at all that "the guy" in the picture was Alex!!
