Gavin+Shotgun=4 dead grouse
Thanks to a very cool uncle Matt and his sweet devoted little wife Jenn, and the cutest dog ever, Zodi, Gavin had the opportunity to go on his very first official hunt as a hunter. After a very killer hike up Spanish Fork Canyon, they spent much of Saturday pursuing the elusive grouse. Those little birdies didn't hide as well as they should have because both Gavin and Matt bagged their limit.I have a feeling this will be the first of many hunting expeditions for Gavin. I have heard of nothing else this entire day. Really, I do love hearing about the things that make my kids happy. Even if it's hunting.

My boys would LOVE to do this, but I am too chicken to take them. Or should that be 'too grouse to take them'?

Man, Nate really wants to be Gavin and Grayson's adopted brother. They do such COOL things! And they probably have a nicer mom...
What the H*%& is a grouse? How do you know if you're shooting a grouse or a pigeon? Can you get a ticket if you shoot a pigeon instead of a grouse??? Congrats Gavin! You're mom is nicer than Cody's. He can't have a real gun. :)

It is fun for me to see Matt and his wife in the picture- It has been a long time, but they look the same :) Tell them hi.
Gavin is so cute. Looks like fun! I know there are wonderful teenagers. I was just joking around because yes those are the only teenagers I hang out with right not....oh and I am sure I fell into one of those catagories.....hahaha. But again, the kids I work with are in treatment so its okay for them to show their bad side ALL the time. (so they think)And I would love to come over! Thanks for the invite!lol
