Here are some of the advantages of having a fire hydrant out in front of your house. Sure it's great if there is a fire, but it's also great when it's 98 degrees outside and the neighbor has a fire hydrant wrench. Super fun for the little kiddies and a great way to cool off. This was such a spur of the
moment activity on
Saturday that the kids
didn't even have time to put on their suits. That's okay though, really, how many opportunities does one have to play in the water like this? Not enough, not enough!

Kind of reminds me of the Sesame Street opening. It looks so fun - we have one in our yard - should I find a friend with a wrench as well? I'm so scared because I know the fire department would find out and come haul me off!
P.S. We did call the Saratoga Springs Fire Dept, they were cool with it.

This is Heidi, I just got your comment on my blog and I wanted to tell you that you should do the Wasatch Back! It was the most fun I have ever had exercising in my life. Also, if you were to pass me I promise I would not push you. Another plus to signing up is that it gives you insentive to workout knowing that if you don't you might die in the mountains! =)
