Today's picture is one that I have wanted to put up since Christmas day. For YEARS, every time we have gone to Disneyland I have wanted to stop at the little shop that does the cute silhouettes and have them done of my kids but have never done it. You know, time and money always has something to do with everything I want to do so it has never happened. Well, when I first noticed the present under the tree I was very curious. Sophie has always been very thoughtful and generous with her babysitting money on Christmas but it usually comes in the form of a gift card to go on a date with the big guy which I love, but a big beautifully wrapped present with a pretty bow and a name tag to ME was so exciting. When I opened my gift from my very sweet and thoughtful daughter I was moved to tears. She really thought about me and then worked so hard to make my Christmas special. Homemade silhouettes thanks to Soph is so much more meaningful than anything I could have ever gotten in Disneyland. I absolutely love them!

I love that. Thoughtful gifts always mean more - something she learned from you, no doubt.
