Happy to report that this week Xandi got our car fixed. Yay! What a relief that was to finally get it up and running again, and I am so proud that my husband CAN be handy when he puts his mind to it. Turns out it was the starter after all, so if we had just listened to our gut feeling last Saturday it would have been fixed a lot sooner. Lesson learned.
Today was a great day. Started out by getting to sleep in. One of my very favorite things in the whole wide world. Then Soph and I got to go see Rachel at her salon and got a much needed pedi. Heaven!

Aside from my ugly bunion, Soph and I have some pretty cute toes. Thank You Rachel!

Lanie got to go to the movies with her little friend Sadie, and they seemed to love their time together.
The boys hung out at home and chilled, and by chilled I mean I came home to a house full of Nerf darts and Nerf swords everywhere I looked.
Grocery shopping on a Saturday was interesting and busy.
Finished the day off with the Bass Family Birthday Bash at mom and dads.Yummy soup and bread bowls for dinner and pick your soda floats for dessert. Oh, and hanging out with people that can make me laugh is not a bad way to spend the night! Love my peeps!
