Been Making Me SMILE

Two new nephews... Beau Daniel Schmalz and Cutler Cameryn Bass. ADORABLE

Grayson: "Lanie, we have a lot in common."
Lanie: "Do you like dresses?"

BBQ's on our deck and the view from my backyard.

Scrabble competitions with the hubs.

My hubs, and that he works so hard EVERYDAY for our family. He does so much for us and I know I don't tell him enough how happy he makes me. I love him!

Been kissing the same guy for 22 years now. I am one lucky chika!

Talking about the phases that the kids have gone through I mentioned Gentry and his current jammie phase and how he seems to want to wear them everywhere. Overhearing me talking he ran into the room and said "are you talking about my jammie face? Do I have Jam on my face or something?!!"

Speaking of Gentry and his choice in clothing, been thinking about staring a What Not To Where kid addition. I can say that he is one of my more creative children and that makes me smile :)

Fresh peas from the garden. Yummo!

My new bike. It makes me feel like a kid again.

Homemade strawberry jam from fresh picked strawberries in my back yard. Mmmmmm

Not having a headache in THREE WEEKS since saying goodbye to my addiction. I used to suffer with headaches almost everyday, not huge ones, but still headaches nonetheless. So happy that I am caffeine free now. Next on my addictions... SUGAR. Wish me luck.

Having the little five year old neighbor boy come over and ask Gavin if he can play...and he says yes!

Been making me cranky... Weeds, lack of a dishwasher, cars-we need a new one, sprinkler trouble-broken valve, my toothache that I am scared to go back to the dentist for, lack of money, and the fact that I still want to drink Diet Coke even though I know it's bad for me! Good thing I can find something to smile about :)

Ha ha, I love that the five year old asks to play with Gavin. So funny!
I can't believe you are off caffeine! It's like I don't even know you anymore :)

Cute family! Of course! Good for you on the DC. Like any addiction the urge is always going to be there. It's controlling that urge. I should take my own advise :( :)
