Can you hear the silence in the Schmalz house?

It's because its the first time in about fifteen years that there hasn't been a little person at home with me, keeping me company. Gentry started his very first day of preschool today. I think I have come to the conclusion that even though I know it's what's good for him, I am not so sure it's what's good for me. I missed my little buddy terribly today. I am not so sure how I will fill up those lonely 2 1/2 hours one day a week...I only get one day a week because he only goes Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I work Thursdays, so...What am I talking about? Am I crazy? Bring on the silence baby, it's nap time for momma!!!

Gentry, you looked darling today, and you were so excited for school time to get here. You were up and dressed at 7:30 this morning and you don't actually leave for school until 12:30 in the afternoon. May you always have such an enthusiasm for learning. I love you, and I really did miss you today!
