Finally setting up our camp, and cooking us some yummy dutch oven dinner...

What did we see?


Old Faithful and The Mineral Pools

More Bison and Elk than you could count.
Every license plate except, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maine, Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Come on you North Easterners, come and visit the beautiful West!
Lots and lots of water. We were planning on some rain, but lucked out and had to deal with some sunshine!
We smelled smells that we had no idea actually existed in nature, not to that degree at least! (Sulfur Pots and boiling pots of mud).

We saw beautifully majestic mountains.

We even finished off our vacation with a trip to the Bar J ranch and enjoyed some chuck wagon grub and were entertained by the world famous Bar J Wranglers, Hilarious!

But we DID NOT see a bear. The one thing Gavin wanted to see was a bear. In fact, this was the conversation we overheard on the drive up...
Gavin: If I don't see a bear I am going to DIE!
Gentry: I hope we see a bear...dead...so I don't get eaten alive!
