A Hiking We Will Go

First off you need to spot your destination. We spied this little rooftop on top of a ridge when we were hiking up at the gorge this past weekend and my adventurous kids had to climb up the mountain to investigate.

Stopping for a rest by a river is so tempting when you are hot and tired, but we must press on.

We made it, and that little rooftop happen to have some cozy log benches to stop and recoup before the hard part... Climbing, or might I say, sliding down!
