Sophie had the opportunity to participate in a program for the Freedom Festival called Hope of America at the Marriott Center tonight. It was a very patriotic evening full of some great music and some really fun dancing. Some of the highlights from the night were the dancing grannies with it's oldest member of 96 doing the splits after their dance number, and the American flag full of a ton of fifth graders from different schools in Utah County singing and doing hand movements together in unison. An awesome sight to see. Sophie was a white stripe, right in the middle of the flag. Her favorite songs were 'This Is America', and 'We Can Be A Light'. Mine too.

We think that Hope of America is one of the greatest things any of our kids have ever been involved in. Joe got to do it two years ago and Jake gets to next year. Wasn't it great? Glad you got to see it!
