Enough about ME already...

but I was tagged by my cute friend, and she encouraged me to let loose, to tell all, to share with the blogger world 8 quirks about ME. Unknown quirks if at all possible. I am not shy on quirky around here so I'M IN!

1. I am not very good at being spontaneous. I don't know what has happened to me over the years but I used to be a 'fly by the seat of my pants' kind of girl, now, not so much. I think it is due to me being married to Xandi who needs to have every part of his life planned out. Anywho, when my friend called and asked if I wanted to take the kids swimming a while back, and I said YES, it was completely out of character. Thanks for the invite Andrea, the kids are still calling me a fun mom!

Here are the big boys, Gray and Gavin, with our little neighbor Cooper.

Cute little Gentry, Soph, and Lanie. Gentry is a maniac in the water and he makes me so nervous. This kid has no fear.

2. I have been know to eat an entire box on Cinnamon Life cereal at one sitting.
3. I have been known to eat an entire box of Hostess Raspberry Filled Doughnuts at one sitting, all six, all by myself. I was a little depressed though and I will never do it again, I promise.
4. This is another thing that has changed in my old age. I used to not be very fond of chocolate or ice cream, and it's not that I didn't like them, it just wouldn't be my first pick. Now though, I don't' know if it's the changing hormones or what, but it's like I crave them both now. What's up with that? No, I am not pregnant.
5. I am anti-social and I don't get it either. I love people and I love talking to them, but get me in a social setting and I go crazy. I'm not shy. I do have some hangups and insecurities about myself that I think play a part in my anti-socialness. I am also not very good at talking to new people or really smart people, I always stick my foot in my mouth, or say something pretty darn stupid, and then I beat myself up mentally for the rest of the week. Quirky, I know.
6. I love to clean, and I can't go to sleep until the house is at least kind of picked up. If I were to leave dirty dishes in the sink, I wouldn't be able to sleep.
7. If I had the money and the know how, I have always wanted to open my own bakery, or run my own catering business.
8. I have been having some pretty wacko dreams. What is up with my mind lately? How can my brain come up with this stuff?
There you go people. You know more about me now than I am sure you ever wanted to know, now it's your turn. I know all of you out there have those little quirky things about yourself that you have been hiding from the world...Let them shine!

Wow, I felt like I was reading about myself. Everything that you said I can definitely relate to...not being spontaneous, being kind of antisocial(I get really nervous and stutter my words), I love to clean...we got a some things in common, girl!! I'll tell you what though...I wouldn't have thought ANY of those things about you, you hide it well :]
Hope to see you soon!

You are too funny! I WISH I had your need to clean dishes quirk, we do dishes twice a week (seriously, I know, it's gross, but we ignore them until we run out, then we HAVE to do them!). Feel free to come hang out with us antisocialites (sp?) anytime! (And, since I just made up a word AND misspelled it, we are obviously not very smart around here, so no need to feel nervous, you'll be the smartest one in the room ;)

I love you!! You are so stinkin cute. I personal prefer chocolate chocolate donuts---it's a new thing for me (you know, the changing taste buds) Anyway-Dunford are the best! And YEAH! for clean houses to the point of insanity & amen to the antisocial, non-spontaneous, starting a bakery (shall we be business partners?), &.... everything else you said.

We're totally wearing the same shirt! It just means mine is 20 years old. And the sad thing is I would wear it today if I could find it at any store! :)And if you need me, I'll be at Claire's, baby!! Thanks for the tip. Give my luck to Sophie!

I know what you mean about being anti-social. I've always had that problem, but you hide it much better than I do. Also, how cute are your kids? I wish I saw them all more - we should set up a standing appointment (yes, I plan things out, just like my big bro).

I think you are more social than you think. Clint and I thought it would be fun to open a bed and breakfast, but we would be stuck to it every weekend. I love LIFE cereal, just had it this morning...not cinnamon though. That was fun reading about you.. now I need to go clean!!

You continue to shock me. You are the most social person I know. I wish I had 1/2 the "people skills" that you have. I, too, have eaten a whole box of donuts. The waxy chocolate ones, not the raspberry ones. I do have to agree that you are quirky when it somes to cleaning. Don't get me wrong, I wish I was more like that. I used to be that way but over the years (working) I've had to let some things go. I still have a few OCD cleaning issues. I tease Scott that I know if anything ever happened to me and I was incapacitated, he would "park" me in front of him and make me watch him fold laundry just to torment me. (He wouldn't really do that, but I do tend to obsess over laundry. Ok sorry to ramble. It just seems these days I never get to talk to you. Love your guts and I think you're inspiring!

I don't get the anti-social quirk about you either. You are one of the FUNNEST people to talk to.
Let me know when you go ahead with that catering business, your first customer right across the street.
30 dinner meals please!!!

You love to clean? Oh how I wish I could say that. Seriously, will you come clean my house? :) By the way, I got a dozen doughnuts once and ate 8 in a row. Man, I was sick after that one.

Really? Anti-social? I would have never guessed! You are so hilarious and express yourself so well. Hmmm.
As for the bakery/catering thing? Sounds like I need to come eat at your house! I'll share that box of donuts with ya! I can already hear myself licking the powder off my fingers.
Thanks for sharing, I always love reading!
