Fun on the 4th

One of our fun 4th of July traditions that we always do is the West Jordan parade with grandma and grandpa Schmalz. The kids always love spending time with their cousins at the parade and this year was just as much fun as always. Even better because the weather was awesome and it didn't seem to get as hot as usual and it doesn't hurt to have about ten baseball teams spraying you with water. Great for the kids, but not so much fun for the mom that didn't really want to get wet! The cute Schmalz kids!

Matching 4th of July girls

The entire Schmalz gang, all but baby Zach who was in his stroller.

One of our favorite aunts, Rebecca, with some of her favorite little people!

After all the fun at grandma Schmalz', swimming, good barbecue, fun visiting, we headed home for a nap. Now that's my kind of 4th, food and a nap!
We went over to my brother Brian's later for more food, more fun, a killer game of charades, and fireworks.
I am so happy that we got to spent the 4th with all the people that we love so much making memories.

Ridiculously beautiful kids you have there!
Totally made my day (night) enlarging them, looking at those faces (and outfits) and then smiling.
You and the Xander man have some good DNA mixage.
I say go for an even dozen. Share the beauty.
