After receiving much flack from my cohorts at work about not letting my kids dye Easter eggs, I stopped on my way home from work today and picked up a dye kit and let the fun begin. To my surprise, it was pretty fun. After all my excuses about how messy it was and how much I hate messes, we only ended up with one little spill. Okay, my entire counter top was bright pink. Nothing that a little soft scrub couldn't take care of. To tell you the truth, I might let them do it again next year!

I am so proud of you!!!! They did such beautiful art work. Not so bad after all? Your blog is so cute.
I hate doing the eggs. Well, actually, I hate doing the Easter egg hunt. Unless it's done outside, the whole house has to be clean - which mine rarely is. Then since we have so many kids, I feel like to make things fair, they all have to have the same # of everything, so I color code everything. What a pain!!
So, this year, we'll dye the eggs but the Easter bunny will only hide 7 super fun prizes/treats for each child - all the same items. Maybe like a scavenger hunt. Maybe I'll feel less stress this way, but I doubt it.
