Xandi took the day off again and we started the day off at the temple. The perfect way to calm my troubled heart.
Next stop, the hospital to visit the old man again. Things don't seem to be looking up for him quite yet but after the abdominal ultrasound and the MRI, the doctors have settled on an abscess in his liver. Still waiting to hear what the plan of action is. It will need to be cleaned out surgically, but they will treat it with antibiotics for a couple weeks to help make it more manageable before they go in to suck out the infection. Sounds lovely, hu? We should find out today if he will be sent home with a pic line or just oral antibiotics and when that will happen. I do think he will feel better at home even if he doesn't necessarily feel better at all. Just not having to be at the hospital should boost his spirits. Lets hope.
After the hospital we decided to take the kids out for a date...with ME this time! The Dark Knight at the dollar movie and dinner at The Pie. Fun and Yum!
After our tummy's were full we headed over to check out the Scheels. It's a pretty cool store, a lot like Cabella's but with a lot more clothes.
