Eeeeeewwwww....

"Somebody's poisoned the water-hole!"
And this is why I am so grateful I listened to that little voice in my head a while back that kept nagging me until I decided to haul those 55 gallon water barrels outside and finally get them cleaned out, then haul them back downstairs and fill 'em up! It only took me about five years!
I am so grateful that my family hasn't succumbed to the bug that everyone else has been suffering through in Saratoga Springs. From the sound of it, we have been pretty blessed. A LOT of people have been very, very sick. I just can't believe that it took the city so long to determine that it was our water.
Until further notice, we will be using up our stored water and I will be boiling any other water for our needs. It really is a pain to have to boil water, even to wash a sink full of dirty dishes. It is crazy how you actually have to stop and think about your water before you use it. I don't know how many times today I have gone straight to the tap and then realized that that's no good. Oh well. I will do what needs to be done to keep my family bug free. It has made me very grateful for all the times that the condition of my water never even crossed my mind. I know in other parts of the world it is ALWAYS something to be worried about. Thank goodness mine is only temporary.
