One of my favorite things about spring is this weeping cherry tree that we have in our front yard. Beautiful, white, and loaded with blossoms. Until today that is. Good thing I took this photo...
before this mother of a hailstorm blew in this afternoon! The hail was not big in size, but very plentiful. Buckets and buckets were dumping around, hitting the house so hard that it sounded like the earth was shaking. Gentry even asked me if THIS was the earthquake. Poor kid. All this talk of earthquakes happening all over the world even has him a little freaked out! Any-who...So, so, so sad for my almond tree in the back yard. I am sure it didn't fair well in the storm either. Looks like it lost all of it's blossoms too. Who knows what other damage my cute plants received. It's been too rainy to go investigate. But look on the bright side. I am so, so, so happy that I didn't plant my garden on Saturday like I wanted to, or I might just be doing it all over again.
HAPPY SPRING
