I am thankful for...
1. People that smile sincerely and truly want to know how I am doing.
2. That I have received my H1N1 vaccine when I go into work and get exposed about 10 times a day.
3. Being able to talk to an amazing friend on the phone. It's nice to have friends.
4. My one and only sister. No matter what I need or when I need her, she is always here. I love her oodles!
5. My cute parents. I don't think I will ever get too old for the love and advice they give me.
6. I am grateful that my children love me, even when I screw up and make mistakes. I know they were sent to me to help me learn how to be a better person.
7. My beautiful home. I love where we live. I love our neighbors, with the exception of one who is out to get me. Other than that, we are so blessed!
8. I ♥ my crock pot, and every other appliance that I have that makes my life easier. Can you imagine life without your washer or microwave?
9. That our clunker vehicle is hanging in there. She's a good old girl, and paid for.
10. My first born, Gavin. I am in awe of him everyday, and so grateful that he is the great kid that he is. I also love that he still loves to play with his younger siblings.
11. For all the people that willingly serve our country, that are willing to give their own lives to protect mine. For our country. For freedom. God Bless America!
12. My giggling, happy children. One of my favorite sounds.
13. Snuggling! I can't imagine a life with nobody to snuggle.
14. My nice warm house.
Waffles.
Homemade strawberry jam.
That my kids have really good kids to be friends with.
And Sophie Marie Schmalz. What a cutie she is. Watching her grow up makes me smile. She really reminds me of myself in a lot of ways, it's scary. I lover her!
15. Our families health (knock on wood). We have always been so blessed in that department. It kind of scares me sometimes because we have had it so good. I hope the hammer never drops.
16. A loving Father in Heaven that hears and answers prayers.
17. Advil
Q tips
Vaseline
the Swiffer Wet Jet
and my bed
18. When my children and husband see something that needs to be done, and they just do it. Doesn't happen very often, but when it does, I feel such a great weight lifted.
19. For being so blessed to have the opportunity to be a mother. It is my magnum opus.
20. For Delanie's laugh. That girl can brighten my darkest day. I lover her!
21. Family time together. No matter what we are doing, being together is one of my favorite things. As the kids get older and we are all being pulled in different directions, a nice lazy Saturday evening at home makes me so happy.
22. For backward hugs, forward hugs, ity bity kisses, and big gigantic kisses given by my little sweetie Gentry. He is my lover boy!
23. I am so grateful for the Internet. I love having so much information right at my fingertips. Way beats the Encyclopedia of my youth.
24. For my middle child Grayson. He is right in the center for a reason. He helps keep ME centered on what is important. He always reminds me when I start to get off track and I am so grateful for that reminder. I love him so much!
25. Xandi's job and that he works so hard to provide for our family. For my job. That I have great peeps that help us with the little ones a couple days a week so I can keep the job that I have had for the past 19 years.
26. All four of my siblings and their spouses. Even though we have all grown, they play such a vital role in my life. They are some of my best friends and I love them so much.
27. For the beautiful world in which we live. For mountains, oceans, open spaces, flowers, trees, green grass, and even snow!
28. For my husband and very best friend. I can't imagine my life without him in it. For his unconditional love for me. For his easy going nature. That he is an amazing father and husband. That he leads and guides our family the best he knows how and does everything in his power to make us all very happy. I love him!
29. I am so grateful that my mom and dad chose to make the decision all those years ago to go to the temple. That one decision has helped shape me into who I am today. I am so grateful for the Gospel and my Savior Jesus Christ. I am grateful for The Book of Mormon and the lessons that it teaches us. I am grateful for temple blessings.
30. I am so grateful that I focused an entire month on what I am thankful for. It has been a great reminder to me to remember what is most important.
