Rules to live by, according to the Schmalz Kids

The kids made this gigantic cardboard clubhouse in the basement and then went and came up with a list of rules to live by in order to play inside. It made me laugh so hard to read all the things that they thought were important. I have a feeling that the little mother, I mean big sister, Sophie had something to do with the rules. A boy would NEVER come up with the "no tooting" rule! Brilliant idea in my book, especially in those close quarters! All the things that they listed I find are great rules to live by, even if you don't live in a cardboard box.

You should frame this and put it in your house, I agree with all rules!
Especially "no more than 12 people." Ha ha, that one cracked me up!

Love it! I also love that they used your expensive painter's masking tape to connect their fort together. Sounds like something my kids would do. :)

No tooting... we call it 'tooting' over here too. I can't read what's in parenthesis by "no calling each other names"...butt? or brat?
Love it! I agree with the others... these are frame worthy. (for all our homes)

Abby and Sadie went on and on about your basement tonight in the car.. just before the tic tac thing (see blog).. they have this in their kitchen and that, and a dirty clothes hamper and and clean hamper.. you're kids are creative to come up with that!

My hubby saw this and immediately fell in love with it. He loves boxes. They are sooo fun for boys/dads!

And, I definately agree, No Tooting!
